Brusshette with tomato & olives
A simple but delicious treat!
Materials
- 2 large slices of bread
- 2 medium ripe tomatoes
- 6 pitted olives
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 leaves of fresh basil, finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- some oregano
Execution
Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cut them into cubes. In a bowl, mix the tomatoes with all the ingredients and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cut the bread slices in half and grill them in a non-stick grill pan until golden brown. Place the slices of ham on a plate while they are still warm and add the mixture you have made. Pour the remaining olive oil over the brushette’s.
