Traditional Products of Kalamata

We welcome you to ASTIR company based in Ellinoekklissia Messinias, a wider area of Ancient Messina – Ithomi in the southwestern tip of mainland Greece. A region known and famous not only for its ancient history, but also for the production of agricultural products of high nutritional value.

The course of our company started in Kalamata by the Vraka family in 1928 with the processing and standardization of Kalamata table olives.

The Drakopoulos family took over the reins of the company as successor and continued the tradition with respect to Messinian soil and its history. Established ASTIR as one of the most reliable companies in the table olive sector, while expanding its activity in the standardization of extra virgin olive oil and dry figs of Kalamata.

All our products are 100% natural without preservatives and artificial means of processing.

Apart from the domestic market, our products travel to countries in Europe and abroad in general.
